Agro-meteorological Management System

ITC has developed a complete solution for monitoring agro-meteorological conditions for some crops, assessing their health status, forecasting and warning on required specific treatments. The solution is based on data collected by sensors measuring humidity, soil and air temperature, wind speed, rainfall volume. The measured parameters are transmitted through wireless communications (GSM) and are consolidated into a database. Based on acquired data and further processing, the solution provides estimates on the health and growth of the crops.
