Healthcare

Information technology in healthcare is necessary for both healthcare and patientcare. Consequently, ITC is engaged in developing information technology solutions dedicated to healthcare and related activities.

ITC supports the healthcare system with solutions developed in collaboration with experts in the field, covering the following areas:

• Applications for electronic document production and management of patient (Electronic Health Records);
• Applications for healthcare prevention;
• Applications for healthcare training assistance (medical, pharmacy, nursing), health smart cards;
• Applications for specific related activities (management, accounting, insurance etc.).

Since 1990, ITC has been a member of the Romanian Society of Medical Informatics.
In that period, ITC has developed the following R&D healthcare projects:

• MONIMUN;
• SMARTASTM.

The expertise within these R&D projects was applied to healthcare solutions, which are part of the ITC portfolio.
