Fiscal Cash Registers

According to OUG 28/1999, ITC has been designated for technical approval of electronic fiscal cash registers.

As such, over 500 electronic cash registers have been tested and approved, with more than half being POS specialised.

Specific areas for fiscal cash registers certification are:

Trade services;
Hotels, restaurants;
Foreign exchange;
Fuel trade;
Duty-Free;
Taxi.

ITC has been involved in developing technical standards to meet the legislative requirements in the above mentioned fields.
